Fire Emblem Father will stop selling next year

Today, Nintendo confirmed the exact date on which the Wii U and 3DS eShop will stop working to buy games and DLC. Together with this sad piece of information, it was also revealed that Fire emblem fates_ will stop selling a month before these virtual stores close their doors.

Through a statement, Nintendo revealed that next February 28, 2023 will be the last day that all 3Ds users have to buy _fire emblem fates in digital format. This was what was shared about it:

Sales of the Fire Emblem Father game will end a month earlier, on 02/28/2023. The DLC for Fire Emblem FATES, including the routes of the story that can be accessed after completing chapter 6, will continue to be available until 03/27/2023.

However, the dlc necessary to finish the history of conquest, Birthright, and revelation will continue for sale until March 27, 2023 . Although there was no reason for this decision, Nintendo is likely to take into consideration the fact that if you buy fire emblem fates until February 28, you still have a month to reach chapter six and choose your DLC. Without a doubt, a fairly extra decision that can work under Nintendo's reasoning. It is a real pity that a lot of content of the 3DS and Wii U, especially 3DS, gets to miss once digital stores close next year.
